Beloved Hollow is run by Taomir, an individual. These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China.

What the Hollow is

A place to remember a pet. The treats, candles and lights here are symbolic and digital. Nothing is shipped, and nothing here speaks for your pet.

Payments and refunds

When you leave something in the jar, you choose the amount, from $1. It buys a symbolic digital treat. 10% of it, after refunds, goes to animal shelters and rescue groups in China, as described on Our giving.

Because the treats are symbolic and digital, payments aren't refunded once they're made, with two exceptions: if you paid by mistake, or were charged twice for the same treat. In either case, write to us within 14 days of the payment and we'll refund it in full, to the PayPal account it came from. Please tell us the date and the amount, or PayPal's transaction ID.

What can be pinned to a door

Cards pinned to a door can be read by others. Please don't pin advertising, links to sell things, anything meant to hurt someone, or other people's private information. Cards pinned to a door can't include links, email addresses or phone numbers. We may remove cards that break these rules, and anyone can report one; a card reported by several people is hidden until we look at it.

Your words

What you write stays yours. By pinning a card, you let us show it on the Hollow. By allowing search, you let search engines show it too. You can undo either at any time.

If the Hollow ever closes

If we ever have to close the Hollow, we'll say so on the site at least 90 days before, so there's time to copy out everything you wrote from Your house. After it closes, every house and card is deleted.
